4.5.10   GENERAL PRINCIPAL: - The Roll Ball game is a test of physical strength and ability to control the body while playing this game. Also mental stability, team spirit is very important. All these qualities enrich this game and will endear the game to athletes across all age group in the roller skating world. Once introduced the game will prove to be popular and will succeed as a competitive sporting event

4.6 FOULS: - A foul is infraction of the rule involving personal contact with an opponent and/or unsportsmanlike behaviour. A foul is charged against the offender and he is subsequently penalized according to the rules.

4.6.1 PERSONAL FOUL: - A personal foul is a player foul, which involves illegal contact with an opposing player, whether the ball is live or dead.
DETAILS: A player shall not hold, block, push, charge, trip, impede the progress of an opposing player by extending his arm, hand, elbow, shoulder, hip, leg, knee or foot nor by bending his body into an ‘abnormal’ position nor shall he indulge in any rough or violent play. The players cannot enter the goalkeepers or the free throw line (D area); it will be counted as a violation.

4.6.2 DOUBLE FOUL: -A double foul is a situation in which two opposing players commit contact fouls against each other at approximately the same time. A personal foul shall be charged against each offending player but NO PENALTY THROW shall be awarded.

4.6.3 TECHNICAL FOUL BY A PLAYER: -It is a player foul, which does not involve contact with an opposing player. When a player disregards warning by officials or uses unfair tactics. A technical foul shall be charged against the player.
PENALTY: one penalty throw shall be awarded to the opponents.

4.6.4 OFFENSIVE FOUL: -An attacking player who is in possession of the ball shall not hit or throw the ball on opposing team’s player
PENALTY: A foul is to be called on the attacking player. A penalty throw shall be awarded. 

4.6.5 TECHNICAL FOUL BY A COACH OR TEAM MANAGER: -A coach or team follower shall not be disrespectful or address or contact the officials the game officials or the opponents. This shall be charged against the coach.
PENALTY: the opponents shall get one penalty throw.

4.6.6 PENALTY THROWS: -For a serious and dangerous Foul in the Goalkeepers line or free throw line (D area) or other side the referee may award a penalty throw. The victimized player against the goal - keeper alone, scores this from the penalty throw line. After committing 5, team fouls the opposition team will be given a penalty throw, every consecutive foul after the initial 5 fouls will be awarded a penalty throw.

4.7 VIOLATIONS: -A Violation is an infraction of the rules. A ball shall be awarded to the opponents for a throw-in, from out of bounds, at the place closest to the infraction.

4.7.1 DRIBBLING: - The player cannot dribble the ball with one hand.

4.7.2 TRAVELLING: - The player in possession of the ball shall not keep skating without dribbling the ball.

4.7.3 BODY TOUCH: - The ball shall not touch any part of the body of any player during the game.

4.7.4 THREE SECONDS: - If the player stops his dribble then he has to pass the ball to the teammate within 3 seconds.

4.7.5 LINE CUT: - The player while taking the throw in from the side line should no touch or cross the line before releasing the ball, if done it will be a violation and the ball possession will change.
